Easy Breezy Tuesday

After looking at my pictures for today's post, I've not quite decided what my particular "style" or what my exact "look" is. I like to think I'm a mix of everything. "Cookies & Spice & Everything Nice" Lol! Just realised I quoted the Powerpuff Girls. 

I actually thought it was gonna rain today so I went for more 'recluse' type clothing and chose to go dark.

Very much loving this shirt dress! Ties in with the seasons love for monochrome and because of the healthy leg allowance, it was really breezy in today's city heat! It kind of looks like a boyfriend shirt which I thought gave the look a flirtatious and effortless edge. I added some past season work boots and knee high socks (not worn that way) to add a more grunge type look. 

Inexpensive sunglasses, a simple bowler hat and a cute leather jacket add some beloved 'City Glamour'!

Keep it Casual

Hey sexy people!! 

How was your day? Hope it was well :) 

Today's look is something EVERYONE can achieve! Watch me turn a daring night time outfit into something playful for the day! 

I'm not really sure what look I was going for tbh I just wanted something easy and 'go with the flow' kinda thing. So I chose a simple bodycon (no need to iron haha) but of course this essentuated EVERY part of my body, ESPECIALLY the bootylicious area, so it needed toning down.

So instead of a blazer that you might of worn to dinner with some friends, I opted for a slouchy Denim Shirt which made the ensemble pro day time.

Added a leather Biker Jacket & some Cons & it was plain sailing baby :) have a go yourselfs & tweet me your looks! :)

First Day At Work...

Hey Guys! Hope your all well! Things are a bit hectic on this side as I've just moved out of Uni last Friday and into my new place Saturday & starting my new job today! Yeah, a lots been going on so I'm kinda all over the place just trying to find some sort of routine. 

Just wanted to share with you some of what I did today :) 

So I started my new job at a London based PR company which is a pretty big deal because they work with some huge names in the industry like Calvin Klein, G-Star & New Era (just some names I think most people would know) but then they also work with some big designers that even I hadn't heard of until today!

 I did the whole, "OMG! I have nothing to wear" but then opted for one of the shirts I uploaded in a previous Outfit post. Remember it....

I did think it was a little bright for my first day at work but then decided it was perfect simply because I got so many compliments on it which made people remember me! Even the new Head of Fashion Director ;) (Just a little tip to you all wanting to impress)

All in all it was a great first day and they made me feel so welcome! You'll have to bare with me due to working early till 6/7 in the afternoon but I WON'T forget about you! :)

Play It Cool

I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

No more exams and I handed in my final report today! So apologies for not posting yesterday but I was just getting my last minute headaches out of the way. Bitter sweet feeling though, my first year of uni has come to an end :(

Just like any student I decided to treat myself (I think I treat myself too often tbh..) I figured this jumper was perfect for an English summer. A thin knit that gives you that extra warmth when the sun isn't being as generous. I love the drape as it can be dressed up or down for any occasion and for you gifted ladies with larger chests, a little cleavage on show never hurt anyone.

DIY: Sea Salt Manicure

  Hey guys, today's post is very different & I've gone a little DIY crazy. But I wanted to share with you the easiest of them all! Like it's so easy, you could do it in under 10 minutes with stuff you already have!! Check out my step by step tutorial to have a go yourself!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- Clear Base Coat

- Nail Polish of your choice

                                             - Sea Salt

STEP 1:

Paint your naked nails with a clear base coat and wait to dry

STEP 2:

Pour desired amount of salt onto a piece of paper

STEP 3:

Paint your nails how you normally would applying 2 coats. After apply a top coat to all nails.

STEP 4:

Immediately after painting your top coat, for each nail dip the wet coat into the pile of salt.

STEP 5:

After dipping your nail into the salt, gently press down onto the salt so it sticks to the wet coat of nail polish.

Allow a few moments to dry completely.

STEP 6:

Then finally apply a clear top coat so it seals the design and prevents the salt from melting. 

Wallah! The End Result!!

Outfit of the Day

Hey all you sexy people!

Today's blog post is very chilled. Just a little number I wore on a little stroll in the park. Very much in love with my new shoes from Zara! Had a cheeky lunch in Slug & Lettuce where on Monday's do half price meals so we went a little crazy... Let's just say I'm more than full right now. 

I've seen a few denim dresses on the high-street this season, all inspired by the American country "RailRoad" kind of look, although the current ones have cut out sides and look like this....

I however being tight on money just decided to re work and old one that I had in my wardrobe and drop it like it's hot!

I layered it with a cotton 3/4 length shirt which I immediately regretted as I got outside and the sun thought it could slap me repeatedly with heat! But then it actually came in handy once the huge clouds started to cover up the sun.  

*Watching the weird man who looked like he was gonna steal my bag while taking photos...whilst holding a pose may I add ;)*
