Our favourite girl Beyoncé was absolutely spot on in her choice of donation to the 'New Yorkers for Children' organisation.

This upcoming weekend will hold a charity event to raise money for children in foster care in New York. Raising prospects for better futures and sewing seeds for countless opportunities. Beyoncé played a role in all this by kindly donating the Gold suit she wore in her 'Love on Top' music video which was released last year 2011. The starting bid is apparently £465, so those of you with deep pockets who wanna rock out in front of the mirror in full costume....Get to bidding!!

The colour is just so perfect for the Christmas season, no?

Just A Little Something

So as most of you will know (well those of you that read haha) I haven't really blogged because I haven't got a decent camera :/ Buuuuut I thought I wouldn't let that stop me and keep you all posted on what's going onnnnnnnn :)

So I went to see RISE OF THE GUARDIANS today which has recently come out in the UK, which btw I loved! Great for the children and the big kids too!

I also handed in my CV to a couple of stores to be a Christmas Temp while at home from Uni...so wish me luck guys! :)

And the day WOULD NOT have been complete without a sexy Nando's Lunch!

Street Art

I am no longer a street art virgin as I encountered my first ever pavement portrait. Theres so many people out there with talent, I was actually amazed at how he turned something so grubby and dirty as the pavement into something so eye catching!

Lets see if I can handle the burn!

Okay so I recently purchased some Carmex from Superdrug to help me against this horrible winter weather! Plus i heard so many good things about it! But I literally CANNOT HANDLE the tingling/burning sensation! It feels like my lips are about to fall off! Maybe buying 2 wasn't such a good idea! (Stupid 2 for £3 deal) Let's see if I can suck it up ey..

I know I'm late blogging about it but WOW!!

I have to say it was my favourite performance Rihanna has ever done! I felt like a proud mum...is that weird?

In the Nude

Our girl RiRi never fails to disappoint and has wowed us by bringing out a new fragrance 'NUDE'! Now the new fragrance has already been launched in the US, but I've seen posters up in perfume shops which gives me hope that it will come to the UK in the new year. And if it's anything like the standard of Reb'l Fleur (my favourite scent EVER!!) then Miss Fenty will have a very very happy customer! 

Student Life: Eyebrows

So I thought it was about time to tame the eyebrows. Like, I pluck and shape them but they just still seem really wild. BUT I soon realised where I was going wrong! I always just used black eye-shadow to fill them in but I saw the error of my ways and invested in a student budget acceptable eyebrow pencil.

And with a student discount it was around £2.70 ... not much but EVERY PENNY COUNTS 

Then just to highlight my new brow ;) I used an angled brow brush on the outlines of my brow with concealer which also gives it a 'fresh plucked' look.

And I know the product below isn't really classed as a student budget item, however I had it before I came to uni :)

So yeah...here's the end comparison (Not as good quality as the above photos but you guys know I'm working on it :) )

DEEP, DARK & DANGEROUS

It's that time of year again.

Yep, the leaves are turning and starting to fall and it's getting so cold I may need to invest in a new winter coat...OR just start bringing my duvet out with me to stay warm! To be honest I should be used to this weather as England isn't really one for sunshine and tans...unless their fake ;)

But nevertheless, in preparation for the chilly season I decided to buy some seasonal lipstick! I went to MAC and just couldn't find the right colour that I really liked so I thought why not dip into the American market and went for brands called Wet n Wild and NYX. I bought a lip liner and a lipstick.

Here's the colours I chose...

NYX Auto Lip Pencil - Deep Purple

The lip liner is essential as it makes sure the colour doesn't bleed.

And I also bought a Gothic lipstick to go over the lip-liner :)

Wet n Wild - Vamp it up

I ordered my products off of an American website called www.beautyjoint.com and including delivery it cost $10.02 which is £6.22 converted HOWEVER... 

There is a UK based website that offers the same products that I found out about after (www.scentsationalperfumes.com). 

Can't wait for these to arrive! I'll let you know how they turn out when they do :)

OOTD

So here's what I wore today, sorry it's really brief, just buzzing around doing uni assignments :)

A lot of people thought my trousers were from TopShop and my brogues Kurt Geiger BUT Both my trousers and shoes are from Primark! The key is to always shop cheap but make sure they look expensive.

Only £200 away from getting a new Camera but until then..

You'll have to just bare with me :(

I'm aiming for either an Olympus OR a Cannon 600D *sigh* choices choices.

Anyway, aside from my camera dreams today on my course we did some field work (not literally working in a field haha!) on our module theme. And I had to go back to TopShop, where I got that ivy green satchel from, because they'd forgotten to take the security tag off. Which was LONG -.- .

KoKo for XFactor USA!

Just in case you didn't already know, Khloe Kardashian Odom (KoKo is what her nephew calls her) is going to be the new host of XFactor USA! And if your a Kardashian fan like me you should be super excited!!! But this also means A LOT more viewers for the already successful show. Because I never used to watch the USA version but definitely will now that Khlo's on it :)

THE TOPSHOP MID SEASON SALE IS ON!!!!!!

Yes folks!

TopShop is having a sale, which I suppose isn't nothing special but the garments that are on are actually beautiful! So OBVIOUSLY I decided to splash out a bit ;)

I will show you these items in an outfit when I get a chance to wear them so you get more of a feel, but right now I'm just gonna show you my happy lil' finds :)

I absolutely love these! Normally I stay faaaaar away from  pointed shoes just cos I'm a size 7 and with pointed shoes you need a size bigger, but the because of the capped toe, all the attention is on that and illuminates smaller feet! Plus they look so professional and WOW are they comfy!

Unfortunately I can't find the other 2 items I bought on the website but you just might be able to find them in store so happy hunting :)

These brogues are actually beautiful and feel so soft on your feet! There made out of suede and have a cream tinge to them. 

The only bad thing about them I'd say is that I'm not too keen on the colour of the sole so I'm thinking of jazzing them up maybe by painting the sole black or getting out the super glue and adding some glitter!

These babies were reduced from £36 to £10!

And finally we have my favourite, again my camera doesn't do it justice but I just love this satchel! 

It's like a dark military green with a worn effect and literally has so much space! 

It also has an adjustable and detachable handle, so it can be worn however according to your preference and definitely fits in with the seasons military and dark fragility look as the time gets colder.

Reduced from £36 to £20!

Anyhow these are just my little finds but seriously GO CRAZY! This sale is ridiculous!

Hey Hey Hey!! :)

Hope you guys are all good and feeling warm on this horrible cold day!

But anyhow.. last night was another check in the list of fresher events going on at my Uni but instead of having a theme like ARMY (<click here to read previous post) we finally got to wear normal clothes so I decided to dress up a bit :)

I wore an over-sized pink blazer to give the boyfriend blazer kinda look, which I just rolled up the sleeves a bit and I paired it with a bandeau and a hound-tooth mini skirt. This look was so easy to piece together and you if you didn't want it to be so dressy just throw on a pair of leggings, jeans or even some flats to make it more causal :)

 Unfortunately I changed into leather leggings because it was soo cold!! But here's the more causal look! i.e drinks with the girls ;)  (isn't my friend beautiful!!)
