Things I Wish My Mum Had Told Me - 'Am I Good Enough?'

Am I good enough?

Don't ever ask yourself this question because you should already know the answer.

YES. YES YOU ARE.

You are more than good. So much more.
You are Smart. Beautiful. Funny. And your energy is on a level most people fail to understand, yet wish to achieve. Do not grade yourself against someone else's standards. Why should you let someone else's comments make you feel small?! Big up your chest and know your worth. Believe in your worth so that others too can see it radiate within you.
When you ask 'Am I good enough?' you're really comparing yourself. You may not feel that way but ultimately you are. You're comparing lifestyles, journeys, skills and maybe even looks. Do not compare yourself to another individual and focus so intensely on your flaws. Your flaws make you beautiful. They make you you! And you can learn a whole lot from them. Understanding that we are all different will help you to understand that we are all made for something different.

I hope that made sense, but yes. Not only are you good enough, You are great enough.
Great enough to do brilliant things. But just don't say it. Honestly you have to believe it. Believe that you can do all things you set your mind to. Whether it's to start your own company, or to go after your dream career don't ever doubt yourself. Doubting only enables over thinking, which ultimately slows down and in some cases hinders our ultimate goals.

Am I good enough?

To be honest I think you already know the answer. You're just scared of what the outcome may be. Don't be afraid because we all fail and stumble but we still get up and try again. No one will judge you for that. And if they do, I promise you those are the type of people that need to be axed from your life.

Be good enough to yourself. To want more for yourself. Surround yourself with positive energy and positive people who will push and motivate you to achieve your goals when you need a little help.

And last but not least be good enough for yourself. At the end of the day if you've made yourself proud and look back and feel achievement and most importantly happiness, then you were never good enough.
You were amazing.
