 As much as I love the city, I do appreciate the peace of the countryside. Mum & I took a walk to go pick some apples in a nearby field.....she walked and I drove in my pimped out whip haha! It actually feels amazing to be home with everyone, even if it is only for a week! (I'm off to Spain next week!) A much needed break from Uni was due, even if I do have tons of work to do over the Easter break.

Brace the Cold

So I've gone for a more casual look today, jeans, tee and a jacket: simple & achieveable :) I'm not one for planning my outfits the night before as I literally wear what I want depending on my mood. And to be honest, looking outside my window this morning and seeing it was raining cats & dogs, I knew it wasn't going to be anything special. 

This jacket is actually one of my favs if I want to dress anything down. With a slightly oversized fit & acid wash you can experiment and have fun with it. I paired it with my little grey beanie...(I say little because my heads so big) and Nike air Max's to show my inner "urban" gal lol! Nahhhhhh I'm just joking, it was cold and these shoes are hella comfy it's like walking on clouds! I feel like they'd be the ultimate show if they lit up when I walked!! 

My day involved catching up with my best friend over chicken strips and a rack of ribs so I definitely needed something I could relax and feel fat in! I thought I might need a scarf with this look but luckily it wasn't too bad with the sheepskin interior to keep me warm!

Asos AND Primark Join Forces

So a rumored story which I heard recently has now revealed itself to be true! Our beloved online retailer Asos.com has joined forces with the cheap affordable high-street brand Primark! I remember the days of always wanting Primark to have an online website for my own personal convenience but it seems Primark has finally joined 2013 (kind of) and partnered up with Asos.com to have around 21 of its womenswear range on the online leading retailer.  

The Primark selection on the website starts off from £6 to a still affordable £22 for a Studded Parka.

Is this Primark's way of testing out if online retailing is for them? Who know! But it's definitely solved my convenience issue! & with Asos.com giving free worldwide deliveries, there are no extra costs!

Mixed Trends

So today was pretty chilled, being Sunday and all. All my flat mates have disappeared and gone home to revise for their up coming exams. Trust me to be the only one left to still have lectures! :( 

Anyway had to run a couple errands and was pretty indecisive about what to wear. Typical girl then. After a long time of tidying the mess I'd created from going through my wardrobe, I decided to wear my new monochrome skirt that I bought in the ASOS sale. "Hmm now what do I wear with it?" is basically what I'm thinking as I stand there in this amazingly comfy skirt and my bra. So the hurricane of clothes happens again as I throw things onto my floor searching for a top. Here's the finished look...

I chose this top because I feel like recently I've been dressing too bland, and a desperate touch of colour is needed! Plus, I've seen this colour used a lot recently, particularly in the Rhianna for River Island collection and TopShop's recent Aztec and African prints. Take away the Converse & denim shirt and throw in a  pair of heels and this look can take you right through to the night!
