Colour Blocking

Hey guys, how are you all?

I hope the sunshine is treating you well! 

So we all know it's that dreaded time of year again, ( for us poor students :( ) exams are getting closer and closer and before you know it we're all going to be biting our nails, whilst looking around at each other with those "WTF" eyes as we read that first question in the exam hall. 

In between revision, job hunting and trying to maintain a great social life, time really is scarce! But my little piece of advice to you all is to just stop for a second and smell the roses. 

Yesterday, I unfortunately didn't get a chance to post as I was in London at an interview sweating with nerves and the 16 degrees of London sun that we were blessed to get! I have to say it was a beautiful day, sun shining, tourists snapping away at Buckingham Palace and picnic's being had in Green Park. Funnily enough, there was just 1 thing that bugged me about yesterday...Londoners lack of colour! Now this isn't aimed at the hundreds of workers who obviously need to wear suits and look professional. No, this is to the people that saw the sun shining, came out to spend some time in the park and yet still wore layer upon layer of black clothing. *sigh* To each their own I guess? But this just motivated me to incorporate some colour into my outfit to Uni today. Problem is, I couldn't decide on what colour to wear so whallah we have colour blocking!

It's Sunny, Let's Chill

Yoooo! For all you beautiful readers who live in England and are experiencing this RARE occasion of SUN... Enjoy it while it lasts!! We don't get the best of luck when it comes to the summer season, so get those blankets out and head to your nearest park and enjoy the 12 hours of sunshine we'll probably get for the year!

Me? Well I haven't done too much as it's exam season...so it's just some less than exciting lectures and second hand revision books for me! Here's the little number that got me through the day...

Let's be real, no-one wears stilettos every day, had to go for the flats and keep it real.. LOL

Hey Hey Hey!! :)

Hope you guys are all good and feeling warm on this horrible cold day!

But anyhow.. last night was another check in the list of fresher events going on at my Uni but instead of having a theme like ARMY (<click here to read previous post) we finally got to wear normal clothes so I decided to dress up a bit :)

I wore an over-sized pink blazer to give the boyfriend blazer kinda look, which I just rolled up the sleeves a bit and I paired it with a bandeau and a hound-tooth mini skirt. This look was so easy to piece together and you if you didn't want it to be so dressy just throw on a pair of leggings, jeans or even some flats to make it more causal :)

 Unfortunately I changed into leather leggings because it was soo cold!! But here's the more causal look! i.e drinks with the girls ;)  (isn't my friend beautiful!!)
